"They've got it! Whatever 'it' is that makes a band something special...they've got it."
They are Sell Out Stereo (S.O.S), a high-energy quintet formed in Minneapolis, MN. The “it” they possess can be defined simply by their ability to harness the energy only a live unit such as this brings. And when they show up, it becomes a musical event, the likes of which has never been seen.
The goal for S.O.S. is quite simple and to the point – to bring the hits to the masses and perform them as well as or better than the original artists. Their audiences can only be explained as “hypnotized." Once the crowd shows up, they are dancing, and they are there to stay.
The group collectively brings years of experience on the local, regional and national levels. Members have played with acts such as Quietdrive, Johnny Holm and G.B. Leighton. Whether you have seen them playing the legendary Viper Room in Los Angeles, the Metrodome or at a local bar, you know these guys bring an unmatched level of professionalism. Their individual accolades include numerous musical awards as students, instructors, songwriters, producers and performers, including playing on and producing a Billboard Top 20 hit in 2007.
S.O.S. continues to build their fan base with every performance. They have attained excellence by reaching for perfection. That in itself is a testament to the supremacy that is Sell Out Stereo.
Sell Out Stereo plays from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on April 26 and opens for Bret Michaels on April 27.
