Out On the Road with Coats

OUT ON THE ROAD WITH COATS

St. Croix Casino Turtle Lake hosted a winter coat drive October 19-25. We collected almost 1,500 coats from guests during the week-long drive. On November 5 and 6, Liz Denniston and Sanford Mosay of St. Croix Casino Turtle Lake delivered coats to charities in the Turtle Lake area including the Salvation Army of Polk County; the Honoring our Families/Honoring our Children program at the St. Croix Tribal Center; Indianhead Community Action, Lakeland Family Resources and the Washburn County Food Pantry in Spooner, WI; the Barron, WI, Thrift Store and Goodwill of Rice Lake.

Thank you to everyone who donated coats. Thank you, too, to Liz and Sanford for delivering them to area charities. All of you helped warm up winter for a lot of people.
